What to consider when choosing stainless steel

Stainless Steel Tube   is one of the greatest inventions in human history. It is a type of metal alloy made by combining steel with other metals such as nickel and chromium. What sets stainless steel apart from other materials is its versatility in myriad applications? Different grades can be adapted to different applications in different industries. Here are seven things to consider when choosing the right stainless steel grade: 1. Welding requirements ADVERTISING Not all grades of stainless steel are weld able. Depending on the grade, welding may cause problems such as intergranular corrosion, high-temperature cracking, and stress corrosion cracking. If the product requires welding, select a weld able stainless steel grade. Austenitic stainless steels such as 304L and 347 CE have low carbon levels and can be used for welding. Ferrite stainless steels such as grade 430 and grade 439 can also be easily welded. Martens tic stainless steel is generally not suitable for weld

What Is The Use Of Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger Tubes

Stainless steel is a versatile material consisting of a steel alloy and a small percentage of chromium - the addition of chromium adds to the corrosion resistance of the material. This trait gained its name from stainless steel. Since stainless steel is also low-maintenance, oxidation resistant, and does not damage other metals it comes into contact with, it is often used in a wide range of applications, especially in the manufacture of piping and tubing. Stainless steel piping is divided up into many groups depending on the end-users of the pipe. SS Heat Exchanger Tubes are used in a wide variety of industries such as chemical manufacturing, nuclear power generation, and aerospace, hydrocarbon production, and oil refining, for heating, reheating, or cooling fuels, air or fluids. Stainless steel Heat Exchanger Tubing is suitable for transporting liquid and gases of all types with extremely low and high-temperature requirements. What is Hastelloy

Hastelloy c22 tube is a superalloy built on nickel and is flexible. This superalloy C22 Hastelloy Heat Exchanger Tube is usually used in environmentally involving very highly corrosive media. Besides containing nickel, the Hastelloy C22 Decorative Tube has additions in both chromium & molybdenum as its base ingredient. When applied to the ASTM B622 Hastelloy DIN 2.4602 Tubing, help in corrosion resistance in different conditions these two components are. Since they have a strong resistance to sulphuric acid & hydrochloric acid, for applications involving these acids, Hastelloy C22 Electropolish Tube is considered much better. That is why this alloy is particularly evident in the transport of both these acids compared to any other Hastelloy grades, such as alloy C276, alloy C4, and  Monel 400 Tube . Therefore, Hastelloy c22 tube suppliers are primarily chosen for very highly corrosive conditions such as Nitric Acid transport, etc. We suggest using the ASTM B626 Hastelloy
